 Dr. Madhav Mukundan began his interest in dentistry while pursuing his Bachelor's of Science, Pre-medicine degree at the University of Maryland at College Park.  This along with a keen interest in painting and the fine arts led him to enter the Doctor of Dental Surgery program at the prestigious New York University in Manhattan, New York.  After further completing a General Practice Residency program at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, Dr. Mukundan lived and practiced in NYC for 8 years before moving to this beautiful area of the world.  Dr. Mukundan resides in Monterey with his wife Erin and son, Ryan.  His keen interests are oil painting, fishing, and spending time with family.

 Dr. Mukundan is committed to staying up to date with the latest treatments and technologies.  He actively attends continuing education courses and is an active member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Monterey Bay Dental Society. He also is an active member of the Monterey Peninsula Fine Art Foundation.
